The Interarte Chamber Players came to life in 2001, in a remarkable concert at the Teatro Oriente in Santiago (Chile), where the group represented Brazil in the Fundación Beethoven International Season.
The year 2002 held the first great tour of the Interarte Soloists. They performed in 10 cities in Brazilian countryside and were acclaimed by the local audiences and press. The 2003 tour visited about 20 cities under sponsorship of CPFL.
National oil company Petrobras saw in the Interarte Chamber Players a unique opportunity to celebrate its 50th anniversary by offering the Brazilian public some good music, whether classical or popular. By April 2004, the artists will have performed in 52 more Brazilian cities.
The Interarte Chamber Players usually share the stage with well renown guest artists. Through these years, they have already performed with excellent musicians such as the pianists Nelson Ayres, Emmanuel Strosser (France), Janis Vakarelis (Greece), Ney Fialkow, Jean Louis Steuerman, Sonia Rubinsky, Sergio Melardi, the violinists Claudio Cruz and Isabelle van Keulen (Holand) and the flutist Antonio Carlos Carrasqueira.
